What Is Limewash?
Earthaus Limewash is a breathable, brushed lime-based paint for both interior and exterior applications. It creates a soft, matte finish with subtle movement and texture. Formulated with hydrated lime and optional pigment, packaged as a powder requiring water and mixing.

Exterior Limewash may deteriorate if not properly detailed.
Limitations
Limewash is unsealed.
Not suitable for kitchens or bathrooms.
Color
Standard: bright white.
Available in 43 mineral pigment colors.
Coverage
1 gallon: covers ~200 ft².
5 gallons: covers ~1000 ft².
Storage
Mixed Limewash: stores indefinitely if covered at room temperature; remix before use.
Unmixed Limewash: store dry, low humidity, up to 1 year.
Safety Information
Hydrated lime is strongly alkaline and may cause severe injury on contact with skin or eyes.
Required PPE: gloves, eye protection, long sleeves, dust mask or respirator.
Emergency response:
Eyes: flush with water; seek immediate medical attention.
Skin: wash with water and mild soap.
Inhalation: move to fresh air.
Ingestion: do not ingest; seek medical attention immediately.
