Lebanon accepts Carnets for Exhibitions and Fairs and Professional Equipment. Commercial Samples may not enter on Carnets.
The temporary importation of jewelry is accepted under the following conditions:
Intent must be for display at fairs, exhibitions, congresses or similar events (except at fairs for private purposes and intended for sale);
Color pictures must be appended to the general list to facilitate identification;
The general list must fully describe the jewelry (weight, nature, shape, components, etc.);
Jewelry must be fully re-exported at the end of the exhibition. (Dec. 2009)
It is advisable to consult with your foreign representative for a list of goods prohibited in Lebanon.
