Carnet users must have their carnets validated by CBP (US Customs) before departure from the U.S. Carnet users must also have their carnets validated upon arrival into their foreign destination.

1) Bring Carnet and items to the CBP Entrance & Clearance Office located at Main Terminal, Level 1. The CBP Entrance & Clearance Office is near the Information Booth past Door 1 and Starbucks and the restroom.

2) Look for the big CBP sign and a black courtesy phone on the wall and use the phone to call a Customs Officer with the CBP Entrance & Clearance Office. Follow instructions.
