Introduction
The Auto Cancel Feature allows merchants to configure subscriptions to end automatically after a defined number of completed orders. This feature supports controlled subscription lifecycles and reduces the need for manual cancellation.
Auto cancellation is configured at the subscription plan level and applies to all customers enrolled in that plan.
Why It Matters
Automatic cancellation supports predictable subscription management and reduces operational overhead.
Key operational benefits include:
Preventing subscriptions from continuing beyond the intended duration
Supporting limited-term or trial-based subscription models
Reducing manual intervention for subscription cancellations
