How to Set Up Fixed Gift Product Rules in Subscription Groups

Introduction

Gift Product (Fixed) feature allows merchants to include a fixed gift product with subscription-based purchases.When a customer subscribes to a selected product, the same gift product is automatically added to each recurring order based on the configured rules.

This feature supports consistent customer incentives across the subscription lifecycle.

Providing a fixed gift product helps merchants:

  • Deliver consistent value to subscription customers

  • Improve retention for recurring orders

  • Standardize promotional incentives across subscription plans

The gift product remains the same for all applicable recurring orders.

How to Manage a Fixed Gift Product

Step 1: Access the Easy Subscription App

  • Log in to the Shopify admin dashboard

  • Open the Easy Subscription app

Step 2: Create a Subscription Plan

  • Follow the standard subscription plan creation steps

  • Configure product, pricing, and billing settings as required

Step 3: Configure the Gift Product

  • Scroll to the Gift Product section at the bottom of the subscription setup

  • Enable the Gift Product option

  • Select Fixed Product as the gift type

  • Enter the required details, such as:

    • Send gift after total spending

Step 4: Save the Subscription Plan

  • Review the configuration

  • Click the Save button to apply the settings

Important Notes

  • The fixed gift product is sent with every recurring order

  • The gift product remains the same for the entire subscription duration
