Offer Trial allows merchants to configure a trial experience within a subscription plan.This feature controls how and when the trial product is delivered before regular subscription billing begins.
Merchants can select one of two trial delivery methods based on their operational requirements.

How Offer Trial Works
Offer Trial provides two configuration options:
Trial as First Order
The trial product is treated as a one-time first order.
The product is shipped after the specified number of days or months.
The subscription starts after the trial order is completed.
Trial as First Subscription Order
The trial product is treated as the first subscription order.
The product is shipped after the specified number of days or months.
The subscription cycle begins with the trial delivery.
Only one option can be selected per subscription plan.
How to Enable Offer Trial
Step 1: Access the App
Log in to the Shopify Admin.
Open the Easy Subscription app.
Step 2: Create or Edit a Subscription Plan
Navigate to Subscription Plan.
Start creating a new subscription plan or edit an existing one.
Complete the standard subscription plan setup steps.
Step 3: Configure Offer Trial
Locate the Offer Trial option on the right side of the plan creation screen.
Enable Offer Trial.
Select one of the two available trial features.
Enter the required delay in days or months.
Step 4: Save the Plan
Review the selected Offer Trial option.
Click Save to apply the changes.
Best Practice
Select the Offer Trial option based on fulfillment and billing flow.
Use Trial as First Order when the trial should remain separate from subscription billing.
Use Trial as First Subscription Order when the trial should initiate the subscription lifecycle.
Review trial settings carefully before saving to avoid fulfillment issues.
