Introduction

The Frequency Update feature allows merchants to manage delivery intervals for active subscriptions through the Customer Portal.

This feature supports updates to delivery frequency such as daily, weekly, monthly, or yearly based on business requirements.

It ensures that subscription deliveries align with predefined schedules and merchant policies.

How to Manage Frequency Update

Step 1: Access the Easy Subscription App

  • Log in to the Shopify Admin portal

  • Navigate to Apps

  • Open the Easy Subscription app

Step 2: Open Feature Settings

  • In the Easy Subscription dashboard, click Features

  • Select Customer Portal

Step 3: Enable Frequency Update

  • Locate Subscription Frequency Update

  • Click to enable the feature

  • Choose one of the following options:

    • Always – Allows customers to update frequency at any time

    • Specific – Allows frequency updates only on selected dates

Step 4: Save Configuration

  • Review the selected option

  • Click Save to apply changes

  • Use Specific frequency updates when delivery schedules must align with inventory or fulfillment cycles

  • Review frequency settings regularly to ensure consistency with subscription

    plans
