Introduction

Frequency Change allows a merchant to modify the billing and delivery frequency for an upcoming subscription order.

This action applies only after an order has been placed and affects future orders, not past transactions.

Why It Matters

Changing the order frequency helps merchants align subscription deliveries with updated customer requirements.

It supports operational flexibility when delivery intervals or billing cycles need adjustment.

How to Manage Frequency Change

Step 1: Access the Subscription List

  • Log in to the Shopify admin portal.

  • Navigate to the Easy Subscription App.

  • Click on Subscription to view all active subscriptions.

Step 2: Select the Subscription Order

  • Choose the subscription order for which the frequency needs to be updated.

  • Open the selected order to access its details.

Step 3: Update the Next Order Frequency

  • Locate the Next Order section on the right side of the page.

  • Click the pencil (edit) icon next to the frequency details.

  • Select the required:

    • Billing Frequency

    • Frequency Interval

  • Click Save to apply the changes.

Best Practice

  • Review the updated frequency before saving to ensure it aligns with the subscription agreement.

  • Inform the customer if the frequency change impacts delivery expectations or billing dates.
