How to Manage Products in a Subscription Contract

Introduction

The Add or Remove Products feature allows merchants to modify products within an active subscription order.

This supports order accuracy when product requirements change after subscription creation.

Why It Matters

Updating products in an active subscription helps maintain correct fulfillment and billing.

It allows merchants to respond to customer requests or operational adjustments without canceling the subscription.

How to Add or Remove Products

Step 1: Access the Subscription List

  • Log in to the Shopify admin portal

  • Open the Easy Subscription app

  • Click Subscriptions

  • View all active subscriptions and orders

Step 2: Open the Subscription Order

  • Select the subscription order you want to modify

  • The order detail page will open

Step 3: Edit Products

  • Click the three-dot menu on the right side of the order

  • Select Edit Product

  • Click Browse Products

Step 4: Add or Remove Products

  • Add new products as required

  • Remove existing products if no longer needed

  • Save the changes to update the active order

Best Practice

  • Review upcoming billing and fulfillment dates before making changes

  • Confirm product availability before adding new items
