Introduction

Order Notes allow merchants to add internal notes to active subscription orders. These notes help record special instructions, preferences, or internal references related to a specific order.

Order Notes support better order tracking and internal coordination.

Why It Matters

Order Notes provide a centralized way to document order-specific details. This helps merchants maintain clarity across teams and ensures important information remains associated with the correct subscription order.

How to Use Order Notes

Access the Subscription Order

  • Log in to the Shopify Admin.

  • Open the Easy Subscription app.

  • Click Subscriptions.

  • View the list of active subscriptions or orders.

  • Select the order you want to update.

Add an Order Note

  • Scroll down on the order details page.

  • Locate the Order Note section.

  • Enter the required note based on your operational needs.

  • Save the changes.

Review the Note

  • The Order Note will remain visible on the order after it is placed.

  • The note stays associated with the specific subscription order for future reference.

Best Practice

  • Use Order Notes for internal information only.

  • Keep notes clear and concise.

  • Update notes promptly to ensure accuracy.
