Introduction

The Star Rating Badge displays a 5-star rating summary for each product. It reflects customer feedback collected through product reviews.

This feature allows merchants to present average ratings directly on product pages. It supports transparency and helps customers evaluate products quickly.

How to Enable the Star Rating Badge

Step 1: Access the App

  1. Log in to your Shopify Admin.

  2. Click on Trusty & Review App.

  3. The app dashboard will open.

Step 2: Enable the Star Rating Badge

  1. From the left-side menu, click Review Widgets.

  2. Locate Star Rating Badge.

  3. Click to enable the widget.

Step 3: Add the Badge to Your Product Template

  1. In Shopify Admin, go to the Online Store.

  2. Click Themes.

  3. Select Customize or Edit Theme.

  4. Open the Product Template.

  5. Navigate to Product Information.

  6. Under the Header section, click Add Block.

  7. Select Star Rating.

Step 4: Save Changes

  1. Confirm the Star Rating is visible in the product preview.

  2. Click Save to apply changes.

The Star Rating Badge will now be displayed on your product pages.

Best Practice

  • Position the Star Rating Badge near the product title for maximum visibility.

  • Ensure review collection is active to display accurate ratings.

  • Regularly monitor reviews to maintain rating accuracy.
