Yes! You tell us how many people you cook for, and we scale our recipes and grocery lists to fit your household size.

Our goal is that everyone in the family cooks and eats together, and we’d like to make that easier. You can set avoidances for the household. For example, if someone is allergic to peanuts, experience has shown use that the family doesn’t want to see recipes that contain peanut.

You can also add additional family members as a secondary users on the account in account settings > household. You can set energy needs for any family member according to their lifestyle including exercise to gauge their appropriate serving size and that naturally scales the recipes and grocery list.

What if I have a couple who wants to track meals but they have different needs?

The food log is designed for individual use, with nutrient targets set for the primary account holder. If both partners would like to track their meals, we recommend each person create their own EatLove account.

For shared meals—like dinners—they can plan together using one main account and collaborate by sharing the meal link. The second person can either manually add their groceries to the shared cart to keep everything in one place, or they can place their own grocery order while still planning joint meals from the same account.
