Nothing beats washing your hands regularly with soap and water.
But when that is not available, hand sanitizer is an effect alternative.
If you are having a hard time finding these in stock near you, here is a step-by-step guide on how to make your own at home.
Graduated cylinder 10 ml
Small and transparent bottles of 50 ml with a pump
Ingredients for 50 ml
14 ml Mineral water
2 hyaluronic acid powder
43 ml of Isopropyl alcohol (90°alcohol)
20 drops of tea tree oil
Please note that your sanitizer mix to be at least 60 percent alcohol to be effective.
Before starting, please make sure that your hands, the surfaces you will work and your bottles on are clean and sanitized.
1 / In a bowl, heat the water to 75 ° C.
2 / Mix hyaluronic acid powder with mineral water at 75 ° C in a bowl, then let it rest for 20 minutes.
3 / Mix again to remove lumps in order to obtain a smooth and homogeneous gel (if this is not the case, leave to rest for 20 minutes more).
4 / Slowly incorporate (in 9 or 10 times) the alcohol then the essential tea tree oil
5 / Transfer the preparation to the bottle.
6 / Let it rest for 12 hours before use.
During the production, you can see small white grains in the preparation, these will disappear after 12 hours of rest.
Please make sure you keep your gel at room temperature and in sanitary conditions.
