ecbo cloak charges are based on the number of days your luggage is stored, not the number of hours. This is clearly stated at the time of booking.
How pricing works:
Bags (longest side under 45cm): 500 yen/day
Suitcases (longest side 45cm or over): 800 yen/day
A new day's charge applies each time your reservation crosses into a new calendar day
Common reasons a charge may seem higher than expected:
Your reservation crossed midnight — even 1 minute past midnight counts as a second day
You changed your reservation — the original payment is refunded and a new charge is applied for the updated total, which can temporarily appear as two charges
You were charged for a larger size — if your bag exceeded 45cm on its longest side, it is classified as suitcase size
Your reservation was at a special location (e.g. JR stations) which has different pricing
You were charged for extra days because luggage was not retrieved by the check-out time
If you believe you have been charged incorrectly, please contact support with your reservation ID and we will review it. Please note that we are unable to issue refunds for charges that are consistent with our pricing policy and the reservation details you confirmed at checkout.
