ecbo cloak is a platform service — we provide the technology that connects users with independently operated store partners. The actual luggage storage contract is formed directly between you (the user) and the store, not between you and ecbo cloak.
This is clearly stated in our Terms of Service (Article 1.2):
"Users and owners shall enter into a storage contract for the storage of the user's personal belongings and other items normally carried when going out, as well as bicycles, at their own responsibility, and ecbo shall not be a party to the luggage storage contract."
What ecbo cloak does:
Provides the platform, app, and booking system
Screens and onboards store partners
Processes payments on behalf of stores
Facilitates insurance coverage for stored luggage
Provides customer support and mediates disputes where possible
What ecbo cloak does not do:
Physically store or handle your luggage
Employ store staff or control their operations
Guarantee the actions or conduct of individual store partners
Accept liability for losses beyond the insurance coverage described in our terms
