Stores on ecbo cloak are required to store luggage without inspecting the contents, and to handle it in the same condition it was received. However, luggage is stored alongside other users' items in a shared space — ecbo cloak does not operate dedicated, individual storage units per reservation.
This means that while stores must meet our safety and storage standards, minor incidental contact between stored items cannot be completely eliminated. ecbo cloak strongly recommends the following to protect your belongings:
Do not store fragile, breakable, or irreplaceable items — ecbo cloak is not liable for damage to fragile items that are not properly protected
Do not store high-value items — the insurance maximum is 100,000 yen per item based on depreciated value. Items worth significantly more than this should not be stored
Ensure your luggage is properly closed and secured — open, leaking, or poorly packaged bags may be refused or may cause damage to other stored items, for which you may be held responsible
Do not store prohibited items — see our full prohibited items list. Prohibited items are not covered by insurance and may result in liability for damage caused to other users' luggage
By using ecbo cloak you agree to these conditions as set out in our Terms of Service. If you have concerns about a specific item, we recommend contacting the store directly before your reservation to confirm they can accommodate it safely.
