Claiming your seat
Your group leader either sent you an invite link or added you directly:
Invite link: open it, confirm your email, and the seat is yours. (Links expire after 30 days — if yours has, ask your leader for a fresh one.)
Added directly: you'll receive a sign-in email — click the link or type the code and you're in.
What you get
The full member experience at your group's plan level — weekly workouts, archive, quizzes, and (depending on the group's plan) ECG STAT, Skills exams, and CME. Your quiz results and favorites are your own. Your account page shows the group you belong to under Group membership.
What your leader can see
Group leaders see engagement data for the group: logins, cases completed, quiz attempts and scores, time on site. Think of it like your program seeing conference attendance. They do not see your personal favorites or control your account — and they never see anything from a personal membership you hold separately.
Things worth knowing
Your account outlives the seat. If you graduate or your group's membership ends, your account and history remain — you can join individually and pick up right where you were, or take a seat in a new group (fellowship, new department) later.
If your group's membership ends without renewing, your account page shows the group as Not renewed, and signing in takes you to a welcome-back page where you can continue with an individual plan. Nothing is deleted.
You can hold a personal membership at the same time. Accesses stack; the more generous one wins for any feature.
Want more than the group's plan includes? (Say the group has Plus but you want CME, which needs Max.) Ask your leader about upgrading the group — or hold a personal Max membership alongside the seat.
Seats can't be paused individually — they belong to the group.
