When you make a product that has editable text. We need the font file to edit your design with the customers information.
It can be a pain to dig into system files and copy and paste all the fonts you have used in your design.
So this tutorial will teach a simple method you can use to export fonts used in your design.
First it is Important to Note, we do not need all your fonts. We only need the font used for the editable text parts .
Now follow this guide to export your fonts:
Step 1: Open your PSD or AI design file in Adobe Illustrator .
This trick only works with AI, so you will need it if you want to follow this guide.
Step 2: Check to make sure the font is editable in AI
Step 3: Save as, Save the design file as an AI file, into a NEW FOLDER . Call this folder "PACKAGE".
Step 4: Now inside AI, click on "FILE" and then find "PACKAGE"
Step 4: Choose the folder you created called "PACKAGE"
Step 5: Click on "PACKAGE" Button
Step 6: Congrats Your Fonts have been Exported!
Step 7: Check the folder to make sure everything was include
Step 8: Upload the PSD or AI file into the EA Platform and Attached all fonts that are needed
All done!
