Creating a new fund group

Fund groups appear under the "My Fund Groups" heading at the top of the page.

Creating a group allows you to save a subset of your search results from the fund search page and compare risk/return metrics and indices correlations across funds within that group.

  1. To get started, narrow down the fund lists on the search page using the filters on the left-hand side. Once you have created a list of 30 (or fewer) results, you can select "Add to Group" at the top of the page. If preferred, you can select funds manually by clicking anywhere on the fund card to highlight it, then proceeding to "Add to Group".

  2. Next, name your Group and click on the name to view it. The Group can then be reached from anywhere in the app by navigating to the "My fund groups" option at the top of the page.

Adding a fund to an existing group

To add a fund to an existing group, highlight it (by clicking on the fund information card) and select "Add to Group" at the top of the page .

Managing your funds in your Group view

A number of actions can be carried out in this view. First, on the left, click on one of the funds in your group to highlight its time series relative to its peers.

  1. View various statistics on a relative, absolute and correlative basis: If you are focusing in a specific benchmark, risk-free index or time periods, adjust the figures at the top of the page and hit "Recalculate" to update the results. You can even select one currency to make sure that all share classes used in the comparison are of the same currency. Everything is computed on the fly, based on your options and the latest fund data.

  2. Generate a report: In the top-right, generate a rich PDF report of your fund group constituents, containing strategy, AUM & exposure of each fund, drawdown, risk, and return time series, as well as a breakdown of absolute statistics for your selected time period and benchmarks.

  3. Remove fund from a group: To remove a fund from a group, navigate to its name in the list on the left and click on the "Bin" icon.

  4. View a fund's profile: To view an individual fund's profile, navigate to its name in the list on the left and click on the "Chart" icon.

  5. Export results to excel: You can download the data and run more analysis on your own computers as ell.
