The CPU Production Summary is a table which shows you your CPU orders in a consolidated table view, allowing you to prepare in advance and then manage your orders on the day of delivery.
Assigning CPU Orders to Production
CPU orders will only show in the Production Summary if they have been set to the 'Production' status.
Navigate to CPU
Select CPU Orders
Use the tickbox to select the CPU order(s) you would like to assign to produce
Click 'send to production'
The order(s) will be assigned to production for the delivery day.
Viewing the Production Summary
Once you have assigned all your CPU orders to production you can review the Production Summary report.
Navigate to CPU > Production Summary.
You will be shown your orders due for delivery today and tomorrow in a table view.
The total quantity of products required is shown in the QTY column. There will then be a column per site/customer showing the quantities they require.
Printing the Production Summary
It's easy to print off your Production Summary, just click 'Print Production Summary' in the top right and a CSV will be downloaded which can be printed.
The downloaded table differs slightly to the table within Edify.
In the download you will be shown two tables. The top table shows the list of products and total quantity required of each. The bottom table shows, per site/customer, the quantity of each product required.
Production Summary FAQs
Is Production Summary different to Edify's Production feature?
Yes, the Production Summary report is separate to Edify's Production feature. The Production Summary report does not enable any planning of productions (e.g. assigning products to staff, showing ingredients required etc.) - it is a report showing the quantities of products required to fulfil your CPU orders per delivery day.
Every customer with a CPU on Edify can use the Production Summary, but not every customer with a CPU has the Production feature.
Why aren't my CPU orders showing in the Production Summary report?
For a CPU order to show in the Production Summary report you have to first set its status to 'Production'. You can see the status of an order by reviewing the 'CPU Orders' table.
Can I see future dates?
No, currently the Production Summary report only shows today and tomorrow.
