What is a prepaid card?

A prepaid card is similar to a gift card. The main difference is you can use a prepaid card anywhere MasterCard is accepted.

Can I withdraw money from the prepaid card?

Yes - you can withdraw money from the prepaid card at an ATM.

Is there a fee for when I withdraw money from the prepaid card at an ATM?

When the prepaid card is used at an ATM, the card provider may charge a fee and the ATM operator may charge a separate fee. The prepaid card provider will not charge a fee if you withdraw the money on your prepaid card at an in-network ATM. The following ATMs are considered in-network by the card provider:

Note: If you withdraw the money on your prepaid card at an out-of-network ATM, the card provider will charge you a $2.00 fee. 

Note: We do not know if the ATM operator will charge a fee.

Does the card expire?

Yes, the card does expire. The funds will be available on the card for 3 months starting on the first day of the month following the month the card was mailed. For example, if the card was mailed in January, the 3 month “count” would start on February 1.

Why haven’t I received my card yet?

The card can take 10 business days to arrive in the mail after you finish claiming the card. If you haven’t received it within that timeframe, please contact our prepaid card provider at support@senduspayments.com.
