Your Framework Library allows you to activate any set of objectives or framework, which will then be available to link to your stories, plans or teacher portfolio posts. 

Educa has pre-loaded frameworks that you can activate or customise. If you can't find what you're looking for, you can create your own. 

Site Administrators can open the Framework page from the Tools menu.

Our Frameworks are organised by region, making it easy to find Frameworks relevant to you. Simply check the box to activate a Framework and select if it is visible on Stories or Teacher Portfolio Reflections.

Any Site Administrator is able to customise a pre-loaded Educa curriculum, changing it to fit your needs.

Select Customise to the right of your chosen framework and rename it. Click Copy to save the changes. 

Now, refresh your page to see this new version of the Framework sitting under Owned Frameworks.

Make changes to the Framework by selecting Edit. You'll be able to add, delete and edit standards, categories or descriptions.

You can also change the language for each outcome, making it more accessible for parents. Simplifying the language makes education jargon easier to understand and helps you achieve your goal of educating parents. Simply add the text to the Alt Story Label field. The full outcome will still be visible to parents if they click on the outcome in the story.

These changes will save automatically.

Create Your Own Framework

Many services like to showcase their approach or values by adding their proprietary framework into Educa, making it available for linking to stories and plans. These links help your service's voice and philosophy come through in your updates to parents.

Create your own by selecting Create Framework on the Framework Library.

Start by creating a Category, under which you can add further sub-categories or Goals.

Important note - Goals are the outcomes of your framework and are the boxes you check when linking your frameworks to a story, plan or portfolio post. 

All of your changes are automatically saved and they will be available for all educators to utilise.
