Amazon Web Services for storing submission files / work by students and teachers and for hosting our database. Based in EU.
Heroku for running our web services. Based in EU.
Redis Cloud - For scheduling periodic jobs and for queuing tasks related to the product. Based in EU.
Cloudflare for content-delivery-network service, DDoS mitigation, Internet security, and distributed domain-name-server services. Data is retained for at most 7 days.
Logentries for logging errors and exceptions to make it easier to debug. Data is retained for at most 14 days.
Stripe for accepting payments from teachers and institution.
Slack for internal team communication.
Scout for application monitoring.
Sentry for logging errors and exceptions to make it easier to debug.
Intercom for delivering customer support on email and live chat to all users (teachers and students). Used to send out product updates to teachers and on-boarding emails to help teachers get started. Students are only added to Intercom if they use the support chat.
Google Analytics for general website analytics (see how many visitors we have, where they come from etc.).
