After launching the E-Proctoring tool, here's how the Proctoring steps should look:

  1. If this is your first time, click “Allow”.

  2. Position Your Face for Photo

Make sure your face is centered in the camera view.

Click the "Take Photo" to capture your photo

  3. Check Your Photo.

Look at the photo you just took.

If it is clear and you can see yourself well, press "Next".

If not, press "Cancel" to take it again.

  4. Photograph your ID

Next, it’s time to take a picture of your photo ID. Position your ID in the frame and press "Take ID Photo".

  5. ID Confirmation

If the ID looks clear in the picture, press "Next".

Otherwise, click the button “Cancel” to take another photo of your ID.

  6. 360º Room Scan

To start scanning your room, press "Begin Room Scan".

  7. Prepare for the 360º Room Scam

You will have 3 seconds to get ready to scan your room.

  8. Scan your Room

Slowly turn your camera all around the room, making a full circle. This shows your whole room.

You have 10 seconds to record your whole room.

Remember, don't end the video until you've shown the whole room. This helps avoid any issues during the review of your test.

  9. Complete the 360º Room scan

After showing your entire room, click "Next" if the video is clear and shows your whole room.

If the video is not clear, or does not show your whole room, click “Cancel” to redo the room scan.

  10. Finalizing the 360º Room Scan

Click on “Done” to finalize the Room scan.

  11. Share your Screen.

Click the button "Launch Screen Recording" to share your screen.

  12. Click “Entire Screen”, then click the image, then click the button “Share”

  13. Close All Unnecessary Tabs

Click on the button “Close All Tabs” to close all open tabs (the Canvas tab will not close)

  14. Disable all Extensions

Click on the button “Continue” to disable all other Chrome extensions (the EduSynch E-Proctoring extension will not be disabled)

  15. Microphone Permission

Click “Allow” to grant permission to the microphone (note: If you've taken a test before, this will not appear).

  16. Final Check

Click on “Click here to Begin” to start your test
