Why This Matters

Working long shifts can cause:

  • Neck and shoulder pain

  • Back strain

  • Headaches

  • Eye strain

  • Fatigue

Small changes can prevent long-term problems.

Safe Device Use in a Client’s Home

✔ Use a table and supportive chair where possible
✔ Avoid writing notes while sitting on a bed
✔ Keep your screen at eye level
✔ Take short screen breaks every hour
✔ Stretch your shoulders and neck regularly

Protecting Client Privacy

  • Make sure visitors cannot see your screen

  • Lock your phone when not using it

  • Never leave your device unattended

  • Do not complete notes in public places
