During an interview, it's crucial to discuss the situation with transparency with us. Here are some steps you can take:

  • Disclose Information: If you know there's something that might appear on your DBS check, disclose it during the interview. We should hear about it from you rather than discover it through the background check.

  • Provide Context: Explain the circumstances surrounding ALL ENTRIES that may arise on the DBS check. Provide context and explain what you've learned from the experience, how you've grown, and why it shouldn't affect your ability to perform the job.

  • Be Honest and Transparent: Never attempt to hide any information that might appear on your DBS check.

If you are successful, you will be asked to provide a statement for each entry, which will then be reviewed.
