The completion of induction training, annual refresher training, and e-learning modules is essential for all carers to maintain compliance with Edyn.care policies and industry regulations. These training procedures not only ensure that carers are well-prepared and knowledgeable but also contribute to the overall quality of care provided.

Why do all carers need to complete all these trainings?

  1. Compliance with regulations

Completing induction training, refresher training, and e-learning modules ensures that all carers comply with industry regulations and our company’s policies, reducing the risk of legal issues and penalties.

  2. Quality of care

Comprehensive training ensures that carers are well-equipped to provide the highest quality of care to clients, enhancing the overall reputation of Edyn.care.

  3. Consistency in standards:

By ensuring that all carers complete all required training, Edyn.care can maintain consistent standards of care and service delivery.

Let's go through all these training individually:

What is Induction Training?

Induction training is the initial recruitment process created specifically for new carers. This training introduces you to Edyn.care's culture, values, policies, procedures, and specific roles within Edyn.care. It includes a wide range of topics from Edyn.care history to medication administration and setting Stripe account.

Timing: Conducted when you first join Edyn.care.

Why is induction training important?

  1. Smooth Transition: Induction training ensures that new carers transition smoothly into edyn.care position.

  2. Understanding company culture: It provides new carers with a clear understanding of Edyn.care’s culture, values, and expectations, helping you integrate more effectively.

  3. Compliance and safety: By covering all relevant compliance issues and safety protocols, induction training reduces the risk of accidents and legal issues, ensuring that carers start their roles with a strong foundation of knowledge.

Refresher Training: keeping knowledge current

What is Refresher Training?

Refresher training is our refresher training created to update carers on the latest policies, and procedures, and remind all carers about our portal.

Timing: yearly

Why is refresher training important?

  1. Reinforcement of knowledge: Refresher training helps remind the information initially provided during induction training, ensuring that carers retain critical knowledge over time.

  2. Updates on policies and regulations: It keeps you informed about any changes in company policies or industry regulations, ensuring ongoing compliance.

E-Learning modules: Ongoing Education

What are E-Learning Modules?

E-learning modules are online training courses that provide carers with flexible, ongoing learning. These modules cover a variety of topics, including technical skills, communication, patient care techniques, and more. E-learning allows you to learn at your own pace in a timely manner and convenience.

Timing: E-learning should be completed before your first placement and annually thereafter. You can also be enrolled by request from our QA team or if you would like to learn something new.

Important to note that if you have completed the care certificate or e-learning modules through another company, you are welcome to send them to us. We will accept them!

Why are E-Learning Modules Important?

  1. Flexibility and Accessibility: E-learning provides carers with the flexibility to complete training at their own pace in a timely manner and from any location, which is especially beneficial for those with varying schedules.

  2. Consistent Training: E-learning ensures that all carers receive the same level of training and information, maintaining consistency across Edyn.care.

  3. Skill Enhancement: Regular e-learning modules help carers keep their skills up-to-date

Please don't mix up all these trainings and if you are not sure why we send you an email if you need assistance completing any task or have any questions, please feel free to contact the Recruitment team.
