(This process is described in more detail in a separate article.)

Adding questions to a final exam

You can either create new questions and add them to final exam (same approach as described above for adding questions to quizzes). Alternatively, you can also reuse (some of) the questions from quizzes:

  1. Click Use questions from this learning path on the final exam card.

  2. In Reuse quiz questions, select the questions to include and click Add questions.

  3. Confirm the exam shows the updated question count.

Reordering blocks and sections

Arrange content to match your desired learning sequence. You can:

  • Drag a section in the left panel to reposition it within the learning path.

  • Drag a block within a section to change its order.

  • Drag a block from one section to another.

Removing content blocks

You can remove content blocks from the learning path:

  1. Hover over the content block in the left panel.

  2. Click the X symbol that appears.

You can remove:

  • Individual questions

  • Entire quizzes

  • Learning materials

  • Sections

  • The Final exam

Note: The first section cannot be removed — every learning path must have at least one section.

Saving content

When you are done with setting up the content, click Save content.

Use Close builder to return to the learning path details page if you do not want to save your content changes.

Note: Save content stores the overall learning path structure. Edits inside an open block (for example, materials, individual questions, or exam settings) must be saved using the block-level Save. The blue dot next to a content block indicates that there are still unsaved changes for this block. If you try to continue without saving block-level changes, an Unsaved changes warning appears and those changes will be lost upon continuing.

Best practices

  • Keep sections focused on a single topic to help learners navigate.

  • Balance materials and quizzes to reinforce learning without overwhelming.

  • Use the duration field to provide realistic time estimates and track effort.

  • Prefer reusing existing materials to ensure consistency and save time.
