1. Introduction

Welcome to the use of our Eemel and Epicsign services ("Service"). The provider of the Service is Epic Invoicing Oy, based in Tampere ("Seller"). The Service is used by businesses ("Customer") and their clients ("Third Parties") in accordance with these Terms of Use ("Terms").


2. Use of the Service

The Service is accessed via web browser at:
www.eemel.com, app.eemel.io, www.eemel.fi, app.eemel.fi, www.epicsign.fi, app.epicsign.fi, and other addresses as necessary in the future.

The Seller ensures the Service remains operational 24/7. The Service remains available to the Customer as long as maintenance fees are paid and usage continues.


3. Customer Responsibilities

  • Proper use: The Customer agrees to use the Service for legal purposes and comply with all applicable laws.

  • Security: The Customer must keep their credentials confidential and not share them with third parties.

  • Data accuracy: The Customer is responsible for providing and maintaining accurate contact and billing information.


4. Security and Privacy

  • Data protection: The Customer is responsible for complying with data protection legislation regarding any personal data collected or processed through the Service.

  • Incident reporting: The Customer must immediately report any security threats or breaches to the Seller.


5. Intellectual Property

The Customer agrees to respect the intellectual property rights of third parties, including copyrights and trademarks.


6. Payments

  • Payment obligations: The Customer must pay all fees on time according to the agreed terms.

  • Late payments: In case of late payment, interest and collection fees apply. After 3 weeks of overdue payment, access to the Service will be blocked.


7. Limitation of Liability

  • Damage reporting: The Customer must report any damage or errors to the Seller so corrective actions can be taken.

  • The Seller is not liable for indirect or direct financial losses. If the Service is unavailable for over 48 hours, the Seller may refund up to two months’ service fees upon request.

  • Exceptions include force majeure situations like natural disasters or server outages.


8. Termination and Account Deletion

The Customer may stop using the Service at any time and request deletion of their data, as allowed by law.
Prepaid fees are non-refundable upon cancellation.


9. Customer Data

All information entered by the Customer remains their property. Upon termination, the Seller will delete the data unless legal obligations require retention.


10. Intellectual Property

All content in the Service (software, text, graphics) belongs to the Seller or its licensors.
Copying, modifying, distributing, selling, or renting any part of the Service is prohibited without permission.


11. Pricing and Payments

The Seller may adjust prices with 30 days’ notice.
If the Customer does not accept the new pricing, they may cancel the Service before the changes take effect.


12. Data Protection and Personal Data

The Seller commits to protecting personal data in compliance with data protection laws.
The Customer must review the Service’s privacy policy.


13. Changes to Terms of Use

The Seller may modify these Terms at any time. Changes take effect once published.
By continuing to use the Service after changes, the Customer accepts the updated Terms.


14. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by Finnish law. Disputes will be resolved primarily through negotiation and, if needed, in the District Court of Tampere.
