Activating Automatic Collection

You can enable automatic debt collection by following these steps:

  1. Enable bank connections by following the instructions provided here:
    Bank connection setup guide

  2. Go to the Settings menu and activate Automatic Collection (Intrum)

Once these settings are active, overdue invoices will be sent automatically to collection.

How Automatic Collection Works

  • Consumer invoices are sent to collection 14 days after the due date

  • Business invoices are sent to collection 10 days after the due date

⚠️ Note: Automatic collection works only if bank connections are active.

When a bank statement or reference payment has been retrieved and an invoice is overdue (10 or 14 days past due), it is automatically forwarded to Intrum Oy for collection. These invoices will appear under the “In Intrum collection” tab on the Invoices page.

Sending Individual Invoices to Collection

You can also send individual invoices to collection without enabling bank connections. To do this, simply click “Send to collection” on the selected invoice.

If your company has not yet signed a collection agreement with Intrum Oy, invoices will appear under the “Awaiting collection agreement” tab.
Once the agreement is in place, those invoices will automatically move to the “In Intrum collection” tab.

Preventing Collection (Per Customer or Per Invoice)

  • To block all invoices from a customer from going to collection:
Go to the Customers section and select “Prevent this customer’s invoices from being sent to collection”

  • To block a specific invoice from being sent to collection:
Go to the Open Invoices tab, open the invoice details, and select “Prevent this invoice from being sent to collection”
