Income Register Authorization in Finland – Eemel.com

As of January 1, 2019, the use of the Income Register is mandatory for all companies that pay wages.

The authorization can be completed by a person in your company who has the legal right to sign on behalf of the company, such as an entrepreneur, CEO, chairperson of the board, or another authorized signatory. Instructions for granting the Income Register authorization in Eemel.com, as well as the technical contact person information required for the authorization, can be found below.

Through this authorization, you can also submit your company’s VAT returns directly to the Finnish Tax Administration from the Eemel.com service, provided you are using Eemel’s accounting feature. In addition, the authorization enables an automatic tax card connection to the Tax Administration if you use payroll in Eemel.com.

WHAT IS THE INCOME REGISTER AUTHORIZATION USED FOR IN Eemel.com?

With the authorization, you can:

  • Automatically submit reports of paid wages to the Income Register from Eemel.com.

  • Automatically submit VAT returns from Eemel.com (if you use Eemel’s accounting feature).

  • Receive automatically updated tax card information (if you use payroll in Eemel).
