How to Authorize Eemel.com in the Finnish Tax Administration's Certificate Service


What Is the Incomes Register Authorization for?

Starting from January 1, 2019, all Finnish companies that pay salaries must report them to the Incomes Register. Authorizing Eemel.com allows:

  • Automatic salary reporting to the Incomes Register from within Eemel.com.

  • Automatic VAT reporting if Eemel's accounting module is in use.


Who Can Authorize?

Authorization must be completed by someone with legal signing authority in the company, such as:

  • Entrepreneur / Business owner

  • CEO

  • Chairperson of the board


How to Authorize Eemel.com for the Incomes Register

  1. Go to the Tax Administration's certificate service:
    https://varmennepalvelu.vero.fi/tuotanto/kirjaudu?lang=fi

  2. Log in and select your company.

  3. Under “Tuotantovarmenteet”, click “Tilaa uusi varmenne”.

  4. Choose:
    Certificate type: Tiedon tuottaja (Web service)
    Description: Your company name + “WS” (e.g., “Example Ltd WS”)

  5. Enter the following technical contact details:

  6. Click “Send request”.

✅ If you use the above contact, Eemel will automatically implement the certificate for your service.

❗ If another person is listed, send the received certificate credentials manually to: support@eemel.com


Additional Setup in Eemel

  • Ensure pension insurance and accident insurance company information is filled out under “My Information”.

  • Make sure employees have required fields like “Job classification code” filled.

  • Only Approved salary runs are reported—Open salary runs are excluded.

💡 Eemel charges €1 + VAT per submitted salary run. Manual submissions via tulorekisteri.fi are free.
