How to Log External Sales (e.g., Google Play or Apple Store) in Eemel.fi

Eemel.fi allows you to manually record sales from external platforms like Google Play or Apple Store, so you can manage and report these sales directly in Eemel.

1. Create a Payer (e.g., Google Play)

  • Go to Sales → Customers

  • Click New Customer

  • Set the customer name, e.g., "Google Play"

  • Create this customer as a billing customer

  • Set Default Sending Method to “I will print and send myself”, so the system won’t send invoices automatically

2. Enable Attachments for Invoices (e.g., Reports)

  • Open Settings (gear icon in the top menu)

  • Go to Available Features

  • Check the box for “Invoice attachments (PDF only)” to activate the feature

3. Create or Import a Sales Report

  • Go to Sales → Invoices → New Invoice

  • Select the customer (e.g., Google Play)

  • Set Payment Terms, e.g., 14 days

  • Use the report date as the invoice date

  • Leave the invoice number field as-is (automatic numbering)

  • Under Invoice Rows, add:

    • Description: e.g., "Google Play settlement 01.04.2017–31.04.2017"

    • Quantity: 1

    • Unit: pcs

    • Net Price: as reported

  • Under Attachments, upload the PDF report from the platform (you can upload multiple files)

4. Allocating the Payment to the Sales Report

  • Go to Sales → Payments

  • Allocate the received payment to the corresponding invoice

⚠️ Note: Manual allocation is necessary only if bank connections are enabled
