Activating the Point-of-Sale (POS) System

Using Eemel as a Cash Register System

Eemel can also be used as a point-of-sale (POS) system. To enable this, the feature must be activated. Sales invoices processed through the POS system will also affect inventory balances.


1. Activate Inventory Management

  • Go to Settings (gear icon in the top menu)

  • Select Available Features → Inventory Management, and enable the feature


2. Activate POS Functions

  • Go to Settings (gear icon in the top menu)

  • Select Inventory Management Settings → Enable POS functions, and activate the feature

At this point, the POS system is active — but you still need to assign warehouse information to POS users.


3. Assign Warehouse to POS Users

  • Go to My Info → Users

  • Select a user and click the pencil icon to edit

  • Choose the POS warehouse and click Save

  • Repeat this step for each POS user

Now your POS system setup is complete.
