Using Eemel as a Cash Register System
Eemel can also be used as a point-of-sale (POS) system. To enable this, the feature must be activated. Sales invoices processed through the POS system will also affect inventory balances.
1. Activate Inventory Management
Go to Settings (gear icon in the top menu)
Select Available Features → Inventory Management, and enable the feature
2. Activate POS Functions
Go to Settings (gear icon in the top menu)
Select Inventory Management Settings → Enable POS functions, and activate the feature
At this point, the POS system is active — but you still need to assign warehouse information to POS users.
3. Assign Warehouse to POS Users
Go to My Info → Users
Select a user and click the pencil icon to edit
Choose the POS warehouse and click Save
Repeat this step for each POS user
Now your POS system setup is complete.
