Importing Sales Invoices

Importing Sales Invoices in Finvoice or Eemel XML Format in Eemel.com

You can import sales invoices into Eemel using either the Finvoice format or Eemel’s own custom XML format. Follow these steps:

🔧 Activate the Invoice Import Feature

Go to Settings (gear icon in the top menu)
Find the setting “Invoice Import Feature Enabled?”
Check Yes

📥 Importing Invoices

A new menu item will appear in the main menu:
Other Functions → Import Invoices
Select the file containing the invoices to import
Click Import Invoices and Customers

Eemel will import the invoices and automatically create billing customers if they don’t already exist
The system uses the business ID (Y-tunnus) to identify or match customers

⚠️ One file may contain multiple Finvoice invoices in sequence, and Eemel will process them automatically
