How to Invoice Tracked Hours and Items in Eemel
Creating Invoices from Tracked Time
Navigate to:
Time Tracking
→Work Entries
→Invoice Work Entries
Search for Unbilled Entries:
Set filters: Customer, Project, Date Range (leave blank to fetch all).
Click Fetch Unbilled Entries.
Select Entries to Invoice:
All entries are selected by default — deselect if needed.
You can edit descriptions and quantities before invoicing.
Set Hourly Rates:
Manually enter the hourly rate for each row, or:
Set a default rate per user by going to:
My Account
→Users
→ Edit User → Set "Customer Hourly Rate (VAT 0%)"
Choose Pricing Mode:
Specify whether the hourly rates include or exclude VAT.
You can change this later in the invoice editor.
Select Invoice Grouping Method:
By Customer (default): One invoice per customer with all related projects listed.
All to One Invoice: Combines all customers/projects into one invoice, billed to your own company (can be changed later).
By Project: One invoice per project.
Finalize:
Click Create Invoices.
Entries will be marked as billed and can no longer be edited in
Work Entries
.
