Understand what your car is doing and what it means for EEVEE

Updated over 3 months ago

EEVEE Mobility gathers a lot of information from your vehicle, as well as the current status of it. In the EEVEE-app this is shown as follows:

Supported car statuses

Status

Meaning

Charging

The car is actively charging.

Plugged in

The car is connected to a charging station but has not started or has already finished charging.

Driving

The car is currently being driven.

Parked

The car is standing still on a location.

Sleeping

The car is automatically set to a battery saving mode. This can be after being in the parked or plugged in state. EEVEE will not wake your car.

Offline

No data is synchronised from the car. This can happen automatically, as decided by the car (to save battery). An offline status can also occur when there is no internet connection (e.g. if you are in an underground garage).

In most cases this is resolved automatically. Contact us if the offline status does not go away and you are certain the car has connectivity.

Check the EEVEE-app to make sure your car is in the state you expect it to be.

Note: not all car brands support live statuses (e.g. BMW).
