To connect to Optimizely X, you need 2 things
1) An API token
2) Your Optimizely X Project ID
One project in Effective Experiments connects to one project in Optimizely.
STEP 1
To generate your token, follow the instructions from the link below
STEP 2
To find your project ID in Optimizely X, ensure that you are within the project. You should now see the project id in the URL (a set of numbers)
STEP 3
Navigate to the project settings of Effective Experiments and add the API token and project ID
