Getting your VWO API key

To generate the VWO API token, sign in to your VWO account, open the URL https://app.vwo.com/#/developers/tokens in the same browser, and follow the steps as shown in the image below:

Navigate to the project settings and scroll down to Integrations.

Click on the VWO icon.

Not seeing the VWO icon?

Is your project currently integrated with another testing platform? You can only have one integration per project. Remove the other integration and you will see the VWO icon.


​Enter your API key and your VWO project ID in the box

If the details are correct, the system will prompt you with a success notification.

What can you do with the VWO integration?

Our VWO integration allows you to

  1. Connect your account and project to Effective Experiments

  2. Import existing experiments from VWO into Effective Experiments

  3. Resync your experiment to check that the data in Effective Experiments matches the data in VWO

  4. Import your results in real time for a particular experiment

  5. Import results for multiple experiments in VWO
