There is currently no functionality to assign tasks to ideas as ideas are usually un-actionable; it’s the research section that require action.
There is currently no functionality to assign tasks to experiments as it’s assumed that once it’s reached experimentation stage, there are no tasks left to do.
How to Assign Ad-Hoc Tasks
As a manager or team lead, it may be useful to assign tasks in the platform to keep a record of what needs completing, by when and by who. Assign ad-hoc tasks can be done on the ‘To do List’ section.
Comments & Engagement
The Effective Experiments platform is designed to help teams collaborate and engage with each other, thus aiding the experimentation process and information sharing. There are a number of ways in which this can be done including adding comments and tagging teammates.
There are two types of comment:
Internal comments: Can be seen by internal accounts only
Public comments: Can be seen by anyone from within or external to the business
There is ability to tag team members that have access to the project within the comments section. Enter “@” into the comments section and a dropdown list of names will appear. Alternatively, you can tag the entire team by using “Everyone”.
How to Add Comments to Research/Observations
There is currently no functionality to comment on an entire piece of research, however you can comment on the Observation within research, which can be found here.
