Crowdsource Ideas
The crowdsource ideas functionality is there for organisations that want to expand their idea generation to a wider audiencewithin their organisation.
The form can be sent via a shareable link, whether the recipient has an EE account or not, where ideas can be submitted to and monitored on the platform.
It’s a great feature to expand your ideation function across the wider organisation, gaining insights from different teams, giving credibility to the experimentation process and help to gather a larger number of ideas
Activate the crowdsource idea fuctionality
Under project settings, scroll down to crowdsourced ideas.
Once there, you will need to activate it
Customising Your Crowdsource Form Template
The form is a template for the fields included in the crowdsource for; these will be the fields/information the recipients will need to fill out. This is the input form to capture the information needed for a valid idea.
Customising the Accepted & Rejected Email Template
When an idea is submitted by someone across the organisation the idea must be accepted or rejected in Effective Experiments (please see user guide how to do this).
If accepted, an email will be sent to the idea submitter notifying them that the idea has been accepted. Which is a good way to engage with the wider workforce and help keep track of the accepted ideas funnel.
If rejected, an email will be sent to the idea submitter notifying them that the idea has been rejected. Which is a good learning exercise for the business, as the submitter will receive information to explain why the idea wasn’t up to scratch, giving the opportunity to improve the response and ultimately the process for the next idea submitted.
