How to clear cache and refresh a page in popular browsers

Updated over 7 months ago

Introduction

From time to time, you may encounter issues with websites not functioning correctly: images may not display, new content doesn’t appear, or pages load slowly. These issues can often be resolved by clearing your browser's cache. The cache stores temporary website files to help pages load faster, but sometimes it can cause outdated information or errors. This guide will walk you through the steps to clear your cache and refresh pages in four of the most popular web browsers: Google Chrome, Safari, Mozilla Firefox, and Microsoft Edge.
