After Eido has been setup you will be able to see our default dashboard:
Custom dashboards
While you can edit the default dashboard it is likely you will want to add your own ones. To do this hit “Create New +” below any dashboards that already exist in Eido, you will start with a copy of the default dashboard, which can be edited, tiles can be removed or added
Note that all dashboards are personal and are not shared between users at this stage
Any tile you see on a dashboard can be clicked for a drill down into more information, for example, drilling into the % compliant tile in the top left corner of the default dashboard
Will take you to a drilldown showing only non compliant devices
Editing and working with dashboards
To edit a dashboard, click Edit in the top corner. Your user account must have the Admin role for this option to be visible. When in Edit mode for any dashboard (including the default one), you have several buttons in the top right-hand corner:
- Cancel – discards any changes made to the dashboard since edit mode was entered
- Save – saves any changes to the dashboard contents and layout
- Clear – removes all tiles from the dashboard
- Delete – deletes the dashboard. Not reversible once confirmed
- Add Item – adds an item to the dashboard from the selection below
Simply click the desired widget, then click Create; no further configuration is required.
You can also name/rename a dashboard by clicking on its name while in edit mode
Widget resizing is achieved by using the drag handle in the bottom right corner. Deleting a Widget is achieved by clicking the trash can in the top right corner
Widgets can be re-arranged and moved by clicking and dragging them
When a dashboard is in edit mode, widgets on the dashboard cannot be clicked to drill down into data, save the dashboard and you will be able to drill down.
