Thresholds

Configure thresholds to control what turns amber and what turns red

Updated over a week ago

Thresholds govern the red/amber/green (RAG) status that you see on Eido for Config/Compliance/App/OS Patch issues that can be set on a per Intune Tenant, per policy basis. To set thresholds, navigate to Admin > Intune Tenants and edit an existing Intune Tenant. Note that threshold changes will not take effect until your Intune tenant next syncs, as it is only at this point that thresholds are evaluated.

OS Patch and Apple Certificate thresholds

Issues arising from these sources have grace periods that can be set that control how many days it is between an issue being detected and an Issue being raised. It will be important to set sensible thresholds to prevent Eido from causing excessive noise when Alerts are configured, for example in the case of Windows OS Patch levels you will not want patches to be marked as a RAG status other than green for a period of time after being released as otherwise each Tuesday when Microsoft release new patches the majority of your devices will go from green to amber/red over night as patches take some time to deploy.

The grace period thresholds can be set independently for OS Patch and Apple Certificate issues on a per Intune tenant basis. To see and change these thresholds, navigate to Admin > Intune Tenants and edit an existing Intune Tenant, then adjust the thresholds before hitting save.

Compliance & Configuration Policy and Managed App thresholds

The thresholds are set for issues from these types in the same way. Simply select the tab for the type of threshold you wish to configure, then select the desired RAG status that issues are to be raised and status is set to when issues are detected, then hit Save
