To give you the opportunity to get to know Eitje before your team members start receiving emails, you can keep it in silent mode.
What is silent mode?
If you start using Eitje, your account will be in silent mode. This means that your team members will not receive an email to activate Eitje, yet. Also other notifications will not be sent by email.
You can recognise that your account is in silent mode by this blue bar on top of your screen:
Invite team members manually
Do you like to grant a team member early access to Eitje, while your account is still in silent mode? You can manually send them an invitation email:
Navigate to 'Team' in the main menu.
Click on the profile of the team member to open it
Go to 'Actions' next to their name.
Click 'Send activation email'

Deactivate silent mode
Are you ready to give your team members access to Eitje? You can deactivate the silent mode by clicking on the blue bar. A pop-up will appear that asks you if you, besides deactivating silent mode, also want to send an invitation email to all of your existing team members.
From now on, an email will always be sent automatically when you add a new team member. Existing team members will receive emails when the schedule is published or changed, although they can switch off these emails in the app settings.
β οΈ Note: Do you work with multiple venues? Then you have to deactivate the silent mode per venue.
Reactivate silent mode
Do you want to reactivate silent mode? Keep in mind that team members have probably activated their profiles. This means they will still receive push notifications from the app. Only the emails will be blocked.
You find these settings here:
Click on the menu icon in the top right corner, and go to 'Venue settings'.
Go to 'Organisation', then 'Silent mode'
Use the toggle to activate or deactivate the silent mode.
