Publish shifts

Your schedule is ready to be shared. Learn how to make shifts visible to your team.

The red circle with a 'P' in a shift card means that this shift has not been published yet.

When you publish a shift, it becomes visible for your team members. They also get a notification about this. There are different ways to publish shifts:


Publish one shift

  1. Go to 'Schedule' in the menu.

  2. Open the shift you want to publish

  3. Tick the box next to 'Published'

  4. Click on 'Save'.


Publishing multiple shifts

  1. Go to 'Schedule' in the menu.

  2. Click on 'Tools' in the top right corner.

  3. Click on 'Edit multiple shifts'. A tick box now appears next to each shift.

  4. Tick the boxes of the shifts that you want publish.

  5. Click on 'Perform action' on the bottom of the screen.

  6. Select 'Publish status'

  7. Choose the option 'Publish'.

Did you already publish shifts, but do you want to depublish them? Follow the steps above and choose the option 'Depublish' instead.


Publishing shifts for multiple weeks or months

  1. Go to 'Schedule' in the menu

  2. Click on 'Publish' at the top right of the screen.

    ⚠️ Note: The number between brackets shows the number of shifts you can publish across all teams in the current week of the schedule.

  3. Fill out the different options.

  4. Click on 'Submit'.

You can adjust the following options:

  • Select the teams you want to publish: Select all the teams or just the teams whose schedule is ready to be published.

  • Close availability when publishing shifts: If the availability is still open in the period in which you publish the shifts, you can close the availability when publishing the schedule by turning the toggle on.

  • Which period to publish: You can choose to publish all the unpublished shifts for a period of a few weeks or for an entire month.

  • Select the week(s)/month(s) to publish: Select the weeks or months that you want to publish.
