In Eitje you can chat with your team mates. Handy, as you can quickly send them a message while working on the schedule or registering hours. Prefer to send a message to the whole team? Use the preset team-chat, or create your own group. With our chat, all interactions are kept within one tool. Besides, business communication is now separated from private affairs.

Chat in the web version using the chat window
When you're making the schedule or approving hours you can have a chat open at the same time, this comes in handy when you want to quickly ask a team member a question about a shift or hours that need approval.
⚠️ Note: You can only open existing chats. A new chat needs to be opened through the chat page.
There are three ways to open a chat window.
Via the menu:
At the top, click on 'Communication'.
Click 'Chat window'.
Select the conversation that you want to open.
The chat will open at the left bottom of the screen.
Via the planning:
At the top, click on 'Planning'.
Select per team member.
On the left side, click on the arrow next to a team member.
Choose 'Send message'.
A chat window opens with the conversation with this specific team member.
Via the hours page:
At the top, click on 'Hours'.
Select per week.
On the left side, click on the arrow next to a team member.
Choose 'Send message'.
A chat window opens with the conversation with this specific team member.
Chat in the web version using the chat page
You can also go to the chat page where you find all your conversations.
At the top, click on 'Communication'.
Select 'Chat page'.
Click on the chat you want to open on the left.
Chat in the mobile app
At the bottom of the screen, click the tab 'Messages'.
Click on the chat you want to open.
