Activate training

You can onboard your team members easier by activating a training. Read more about it here.

Updated this week

The handbook is also useful for training new team members in the business. You can test your team members' knowledge on a specific theme through trainings. You can also create an onboarding process and test different themes. Team members will then receive new parts of the training at specific times in their app.

Additionally, you can see which team members have completed a training and what their responses were to any quiz questions in the themes.

Activate training for a theme

You can create a training per theme.

  1. At the top click on the 'Training' > Handbook.

  2. Open the theme for which you want to activate a training.

  3. Navigate to the control center on the left and click on 'Set up' or 'Edit'.

  4. A window 'Training Setup' will appear. There are three options:

    1. Start training automatically on a specific day of employment for team member: Select a specific day after a team member started working. On this day, the training will start. Useful when the training is part of the onboarding process.

    2. Theme is always open for training: No end date, theme can always be trained.

    3. Theme is trainable until a specific date: Select a date until which team members may make this training.

  5. Click 'Submit'.

πŸ’‘ Tip: Want a specific team member to take or repeat a training? You can 'push' a training to specific team members. Click on the plus icon in the control center and select a team member.

Test run for training

If your training is ready, but you want to see what it looks like, you can do a test run. This way, you can view the training as it will appear to team members.

  1. At the top click on the 'Training' > Handbook.

  2. Select the theme you want to do a test run for.

  3. Click on 'Test run' in the control center at the bottom left of the screen.

  4. Now you can view the theme. Navigate to the next article/quiz question by clicking 'Next step' at the top right.

  5. If you want to exit the training, click 'Leave training' at the top left.

Create onboarding process

You can also present multiple themes to your team members through an onboarding process. For each theme, you choose which day they will be introduced to the theme in their app. This prevents them from being overwhelmed with too much information on their first day of work.

➑️ Example:

On day 1, they receive the theme 'Your First Day' in the app.

On day 3, they receive the theme about the house rules.

On day 5, they receive the theme about the menus.

Check results

Once you've created a training, it's interesting to see how your team members have scored on their questions. You can view the results of your team members. To do this, go to the relevant theme and click on 'Analytics' at the bottom right under Training.

Here, you can see who has started the training and what everyone has answered on the quiz questions.
