You can create a post with a poll. It's a good way to ask your team members for their opinion or preference.
➡️ A poll is not quite the same as a news update. Want to know how to post a news update? Read about it here.
The following steps explain how to post a poll:
Go to 'Communication' > Newsfeed.
Choose 'Poll' to create a new one:
Complete all fields: start with the question, followed by the response options. There is space for max 5 different response options:
Add a newsfeed message and select the teams that are involved.
Set a deadline (max 7 days). After this the poll will automatically close.
At the bottom of the window you will find the option to add an image, if you want.
Click 'Save' to post the poll directly.
Alternatively, choose 'Save for later' to keep a draft, or 'Schedule' to select a date and time for it to be posted automatically.
You can see the results and votes once you voted yourself, or once the poll has closed.
⚠️ Note: The poll only allows one vote, so you cannot select multiple answers when voting, or change your vote.
Just as with news updates, you can check the statistics underneath the poll, and send a reminder to those who haven't seen the poll yet. In the answer, you can click on the number of team members to see who voted for that answer.
