Guide: Team member - Submit availability

In the app you can let you manager know when you are available to work by submitting your availability.

You can submit your availability through the Eitje app. There are three options:

  • Green: Available all day

  • Red: Unavailable all day

  • Orange: Unavailable at (a) specific time(s)

You can also enter the desired number of work days in that week under 'Amount of available days'.


Submit availability

  1. Go to 'Requests' in the menu in the left top corner.

  2. Click on 'Availability'.

  3. At the top of the screen, select the week for which you want to submit availability.

  4. Click on the day for which you want to change the status and select the desired status.

  5. Add a comment.

    โš ๏ธ Note: It may be mandatory to add a comment when selecting the status 'Unavailable', depending on the settings the manager set.

โš ๏ธ Note: If you see this lock, it means that the availability for this days is closed and you cannot change this anymore.

Availability template

Does your availability look more or less the same each week? Then you can use an availability template:

  1. Go to 'Requests' in the menu in the left top corner.

  2. Click on 'Availability template'.

  3. Click on the days to adjust the availability. Add a comment. The template is saved automatically.

  4. Go to 'Availability' and navigate to the week for which you want to use the template and click 'Insert your template'.

  5. You might be asked if you want to override the current availability.
